Fast-Plus EvaGreen qPCR Master Mix
Biotium's Fast-Plus EvaGreen® qPCR Master Mix is a superior performing and environmentally safe formulation. It is a ready-to-use hot-start mix for nucleic acid quantitation and melt curve analysis of PCR amplicons. The master mix is offered in three formats containing different amounts of ROX reference dye to best suit for a variety of PCR instruments.
Cheetah Hot-start DNA Polymerase
For speed, power and more, the Cheetah™ Taq is a chemically-modified hot-start DNA Polymerase for PCR taking less than 2 minutes to activate. Cheetah Taq has excellent activity recovery and improved stability and can be activated at alkaline pH (8.5-9) for optimal Taq activity and more specific target amplification.
EvaGreen Dye Master Mix
EvaGreen® Dye is a novel DNA-binding dye optimally designed for qPCR and DNA melt curve analysis. Features of the dye are that it is environmentally safe; superior for qPCR and isothermal amplification; serves both as a qPCR dye and a DNA gel stain; is compatible for multiplex PR and extremely stable.
AccuBlue DNA Quantitation Kit
The AccuBlue™ DNA quantitation kits offer ultra-sensitive and selective detection of dsDNA with minimal effects from common contaminants. the AccuBlue™ reagent is extremely stable. Supplied with a 1x aqueous quantitation solution, enhancer, and DNA standards, AccuBlue™ can be conveniently stored at 4°C. The kits provide sufficient reagents to perform 1,000 assays based on a 96-well microplate format.
PMA Dye in conjuction with qPCR
PMA™ (propidium monoazide)dye is a photo-reactive dye that binds to dsDNA with high affinity. Upon photolysis with visible light, PMA dye covalently attaches itself to dsDNA. The PMA-modified dsDNA cannot be amplified by PCR. The dye is designed to be cell membrane-impermeable. This unique feature of PMA dye makes it highly useful in selective detection of live bacteria by qPCR.
