ProteCol HPLC Columns
The ProteCol™ HPLC column range features proprietary column designs, incorporating inert materials throughout the flow path and the highest quality stationary phases. The combination of these factors delivers unparalleled separation performance.

ProteCol Capillary Columns
ProteCol™ Capillary Columns feature an integrated column and connection tubing design to achieve excellent peak symmetry and efficiency. The combination of PEEKsil™ column and 50µm ID connecting tubing with a zero dead volume design allows optimum flow characteristics with minimal dispersion.
Ideal for applications in Proteomics and Drug Discovery, ProteCol Capillary columns are available in a range of lengths, ID's and packings.
ProteCol Capillary Trap & Guard Columns
Featuring an integrated column and connection design, ProteCol™ Trap and Guard Columns provide zero dead volume for superior Capillary LC performance. The ProteCol™ Trap Column utilizes flexible 1/32" PEEKsil™ tube ends for direct valve connection and allows on-line pre-concentration or desalting of a sample prior to injection onto the analytical column.
Isolating chemical and particulate contaminants, the ProteCol™ Guard Column protects the integrity and assists longevity of the analytical column. For Guard Columns, the integrated PEEKsil™ connecting tubing is 50mm long at the inlet and 12mm long at the outlet. For Trap Columns both inlet and outlet are 70mm long.

Manufactured to exacting tolerances and available in PEEK and stainless steel, the zero dead volume design provides faultless butt connections.
ProteCol Capillary In-line Filters
The ProteCol™ In-Line Filter is a simple and effective way to protect your capillary columns from blockages and increased back pressures without introducing peak tailing or loss of resolution. The filtering element is a 2 micron porosity screen, located between the square-cut and polished ends of two lengths of PEEKsil™ tubing ('tails'). The construction of the in-line filter minimizes dead volume, providing optimum column performance.
LC PEEKsil Tubing
PEEKsil™ Tubing is polymer-sheathed fused silica tubing, available in outside diameters of 1/32 inch or 1/16 inch, and now in 0.36mm. The sheathing polymer is polyether ether ketone (PEEK) that is mechanically strong and has ideal characteristics for sealing with conventional metal or polymer ferrule systems. PEEKsil™ may be used as a direct replacement for conventional stainless steel as well as a replacement for PEEK tubing used in liquid chromatography systems.
PEEKsil Injection Loop
SGE's PEEKsil™ Injection Loops have a smooth, non-reactive internal bore that reduces sample carry-over and sample rinse times. They have reduced sample loss due to shear or adsorption and are compatible with most valves including Rheodyne® and Valco®. Loops are supplied with PEEKsil™ tubing and two sets of Stainless Steel Hexnuts™ with PEEK ferrule fittings.
