xMAP Antibody Coupling Kit
Developing your own immunoassays just got a lot easier. Introducing the xMAP Antibody Coupling (AbC) Kit. With this kit you will have everything you need to couple the primary antibody from your traditional ELISA onto the surface of Luminex microspheres.
Once your desired antibody is coupled to the surface of the bead you can begin optimizing monoplex or multiplex capture-sandwich immunoassays to suit your needs.
Experience the benefits of immunoassays on xMAP Technology, including:
- Less sample
- Less antibody (up to 90% less antibody in some cases*)
- Less labor
- Greater reproducibility
- Equal or better sensitivity and dynamic range
xMAP® Antibody Coupling Kit contains all of the reagents necessary to covalently couple antibodies to Luminex MagPlex Microspheres (heads) in approximately 3 hours.
LumAvidin Microspheres Reagent
LumAvidin® Microspheres are general use components for further manufacture of xMAP bioassays. They are internally labeled with fluorescent dyes and contain a surface layer of Avidin for near covalent binding of biotin and biotinylated ligands, optimal for small molecule assays such as peptides. See the MSDS for more information.
SeroMAP Microspheres
SeroMAP™ Microspheres are specially formulated to reduce non-specific binding during serological-based assays. They are general use components for further manufacture of xMAP bioassays. They are internally labeled with fluorescent dyes and contain a surface layer of Carboxyl groups for covalent attachment of ligands (or biomolecules). See the MSDS for more information.
MagPlex Microspheres
MagPlex® Microspheres are superparamagnetic microspheres for general laboratory use and may be used with other reagents to develop xMAP® Technology assays. They are internally labeled with fluorescent dyes and contain surface Carboxyl groups for covalent attachment of ligands (or biomolecules).
MicroPlex Microspheres
MicroPlex® Microspheres are general use components for further manufacture of xMAP bioassays. They are internally labeled with fluorescent dyes and contain surface Carboxyl groups for covalent attachment of ligands (or biomolecules). See the MSDS for more information.
MagPlex-TAG Microspheres
MagPlex®-TAG™ Microspheres are magnetic microspheres internally labeled with fluorescent dyes and are pre-coupled with xTAG® oligonucleotide sequences (anti-tags) that are optimized to be an isothermal set and to have minimum cross-reactivity. Use of this product is intended to eliminate the separate step of coupling content-specific capture probes to MagPlex Microspheres and to allow solution-phase reaction kinetics.
Luminex 100/200 System
The Luminex 100/200™ System is a flexible analyzer based on the principles of flow cytometry. The system enables you to multiplex (simultaneously measure) up to 100 analytes in a single microplate well, using very small sample volumes. The system delivers fast and cost-effective bioassay results on many assay formats including nucleic acid assays, receptor-ligand assays, immunoassays and enzymatic assays.
The total system includes the Luminex 100/200 analyzer, the Luminex XY™ plate handling platform, and the Luminex SD™ sheath fluid delivery system, software and PC. Built on xMAP® Technology, this system allows multiplexing of up to 100 analytes in a single well of a microtiter plate.
- Versatility: Use for a variety of applications including immunoassays, genotyping, gene expression, enzyme assays and more.
- Efficiency: Small sample size requires less than 5 mL of sample for up to 100 results.
- Reproducibility: Suspended microspheres give consistent results and allow for easy quality control.
Luminex FLEXMAP 3D System
The Luminex FLEXMAP 3D® System combines differentially dyed fluorescent microsphere sets with an innovative instrument design to allow multiplexing of up to 500 unique assays within a single sample, both rapidly and precisely.
Features such as automated probe height adjustment, simpler routine maintenance operations and an intuitive software interface make FLEXMAP 3D a flexible and easy to use multiplexing platform capable of performing a variety of protein and nucleic acid applications.
Higher Multiplexing - Multiplex up to 500 analytes per well. Each microsphere is impregnated with different amounts of three internal dyes. Monitoring the relative intensity of the three signals allows the FLEXMAP 3D system to discriminate up to 500 different microsphere sets.
More flexibility with 96 and 384 Well Formats - The FLEXMAP 3D accommodates 96 and 384-well formats for enhanced sample volume flexibility and increased throughput. Sample plate heating control also allows the user to run thermally sensitive applications such as nucleic acids.
