Biological Safety Cabinet
Laftech supply the Safemate Series Class II Biological Safety Cabinets in four different sizes (0.9mt, 1.2mt, 1.5mt and 1.8mt). The internal design, the airflow aerodynamics and microprocessor status monitoring, the built-in safety devices and the high quality manufacturing, guarantee the highest performances at the most stringent safety levels, as specified by Australian and International standards.
Fume Cabinet
The Purair Basic Series ductless Fume Cabinet maintains a constant face velocity of >0.50 m/s in compliance with Australian and international standards for safety and performance. Contaminated air is pulled through the Multiplex filtration system where activated carbon adsorbs chemical vapours and/or particulates if HEPA/ULPA filters are used. Clean air is returned to the room.
Ducted & Ductless Storage Cabinets
BCDS-Cleair fume control Ductless Storage Cabinets and ducted fume hoods effectively provide safer storage of noxious, odourous chemicals and potential airborne contaminants. Operating under a negative flow filtration system the BCDS Fume Hood Vents cabinet air from within, safely back into the installed laboratory location through efficient carbon and or HEPA filters 24 hours each day.
Fume Extraction System
The BCLES-Cleair is a portable Fume Extractor System for chemical and powder safe handling. Bio Cabinets local Fume Extraction systems provide efficient removal of these potential hazards by extracting and filtering the local work zones contaminated air cleanly back into the work place. PCR Cabinet
Laftech's Bio Cabinets range of PCR Cabinets utilise short wavelength (254nm) Ultra Violet light to inactivate residual DNA/RNA and destroy contaminants post procedure. These ergonomically designed, front opening PCR cabinets provides safe conditions for pre-amplification procedures. Aerosols generated during the handling of the post-amplification samples cannot enter the cupboard.
