EzWay Transfection
KOMABIOTECH are the suppliers of the EzWay™ Transfection Reagent. This ready-to-use reagent consists of a unique cationic lipid and has appropriate DNA-binding affinity for eliable gene transfection. Sufficient reagent for 250 transfection in 24-well plate is provided.
EzCell Electrophoresis System
KOMA EzCell Electrophoresis System is used for vertical electrophoresis of one or two mini precast or handcast gels at a time. The transfer of proteins or DNA from a gel to a membrane can be done with the optional EzBlot, in the same chamber. Accessories for handcast gels are available.
EzBlot Blotting Unit
The EzBlot Blotting Unit is a simple blotting process enabling the efficient transfer of samples to a membrane. Western, Southern and Northern transfer available. Gel capacity of up to 2 mini-gels and transfer buffer requirement of 200 ml. The EzBlot can be used with EzCell.

Direct PCR
EZWay™ Direct PCR Buffer enables the direct amplification of DNA fragments from a variety of samples (blood, saliva, bacteria, mouse tail, tissue, plant) eliminating the need for DNA purification. EzWay™ Direct PCR Buffer is compatible with most commercially available any DNA polymerases. A one-step reaction using this EzWay™ Direct PCR Buffer enables easy PCR and minimizes the sample cross-contamination when dealing with multiple tissue or samples by eliminating tedious genomic DNA preparation.
EZWay™ Direct Taq PCR MasterMix is a pre-mixed solution containing Taq DNA Polymerase, dNTPs, MgCl2 and Direct PCR Buffer in a 1.5ml tube. Features: no DNA extraction is necessary - save time, costs and labor; Direct PCR from Whole Blood, Blood Stains, Blood Cards, Buccal Swab, Saliva, Hair root, sperm, Body Fluid, Cultured Cells, Bacteria, Viruses, and Tissues (fresh, frozen or paraffinized) without DNA extraction; only small volumes of sample are used; and reduces the risk of contamination.

PCR Enzymes
Taq DNA Polymerase is the enzyme from the cloned Thermus aquaticus expressed in E.coli. This unmodified enqyme replicates DNA at 74°C and exhibits a half-life at 40 minutes at 95°C.

PCR Optimization

EzDry Gel Drying System
The EzDry Gel Drying System is a simple device to dry mini-gels or large-gels using passive evaporation. The air drying method allows slow and even rate of drying, and ensures a crack-free gel.
Accessories include the Laminator which is an easy-to-use plastic film to preserve the gel after drying. It protects the gel from transformation caused by humidity or dust during storage and enables gels to be stored neatly for a long time.
Immunolgy Enrichment Kits
The EzWay™ Phos-Pep Enrichment Kit provides highly selective enrichment of phosphopeptide from non-phosphorylated complex tryptic digest of proteins and facilitates the identification of phosphopeptide by mass spectrometry.
The EzWay™ Phos-Pro Enrighment Kit allows the detection of protein phosphorylation in gels with non-radiolabelling method (eg sharing with fluorescence dye) and enables quantitative comparison between cells.

Apoptosis Detection Kit

EzWay™ DAB Western Blot Kit features specific and accurate colorimetric protein detection using DAB. This kit contains all necessary reagents optimized for best result of western blotting. HRP and DAB colorimetric substrate produce a dark brown band at the site of reaction.
The EzWay™ DAB Substrate Kit contains DAB and Substrate Solution for colorimetric detection of peroxidase (HRP).

Protein Elution
EzWay™ PAG Protein Elution Kit is used to extract and purify proteins from denaturing polyacrylamide gel after SDS-PAGE separation. It uses a simple device - masher bar and masher tube - for homogenization. Instead of the conventional electro elution method, the interested protein can be recovered easily, rapidly and conveniently with EzWay™ PAG Protein Elution Kit without any special equipment requirements. Only a table-top microcentrifuge is required.
Protein Refolding Kit
EzWay™ Protein Refolding Kit can increase the protein-folding yield by combining the method of diluting the protein concentration. This kit has been used successfully to refold prourokinase and tPA, which are known to be difficult to be refolded. EzWay Protein Refolding Kit will reduce the time and costs required in determining the optimal refolding conditions for your target proteins.

Transfer Membrane
EzWay™ Transfer-Check Solution is for membrane staining to check if proteins are transferred to membrane from gel properly. For immunoblotting, it can be removed by water in 1-2 minutes.

RNA Isolation
EzWay™ RNA Isolation Reagent (RI Reagent) is a ready-to-use single reagent for the isolation of total RNA from diverse biological samples including cells and tissues of human, animal, bacteria, virus, yeast and plant. Following homogenization of a sample in EzWay™ RI Reagent, the solution is separated into aqueous and organic phase by addition of chloroform. RNA remains in the aqueous phase, whereas DNA and proteins are isolated in the inter-phase and in the organic phase respectively.
Digital Orbital Shaker
The KOMA digital orbital shaker features silent shaking and lack of vibration by a powerful brushless DC motor. The shaker has an easy manual and compact design by a microprocessor based keypad with digital display. The speed is adjustable from 30 to 300rpm.
