Staining Kits
The Axygen Ultra Fast Protein Stain Kit is a ready-to-use protein stain. The single step staining of proteins in polyacrylamide gels saves time and fast-bands start appearing in 3 minutes.
The Rapid Silver Staining Kit is a complete system for rapid and sensitive staining of proteins, DNA and RNA in polyacrylamide gels in 10 minutes.
Agarose
The Agarose range includes:
Agarose LE (low electroendosmosis) a high quality molecular biology grade agarose suitable for analytical and preparative electrophoresis of nucleic acids.
Agarose LM (low melting) a low melting agarose that allows for the recovery of undamaged nucleic acids below their denaturation temperature.
Agarose MS (molecular screening) a molecular screening agarose for improved resolution of DNA fragments with 500 bp or less.
DNA Ladders
Axygen's ready-to-use DNA Ladders include the 1 kb DNA Ladder ideal for the size determination of digested DNA (each DNA band is quantified to enable DNA band concentration estimation); 100 bp DNA Ladder ideal for the size determination of PCR products (each DNA band is quantified to enable DNA band concentration estimation); and Low, High and Broad Range Ladders with a recommended loading of 5-10 μl per lane (each vial is sufficient for 125 lanes).
Mini Spin Basket
The AxyPrep™ Mini Spin Basket fits all common microfuge tubes and is excellent for applications, such as gel filtration chromatography and nucleic acid purification. Designed to be used with the AxyPrep 1.5 ml or 2 ml capped microfuge tubes when capping during centrifugation is required.
Mini Spin/vac Column
The AxyPrep™ Mini Spin/vac Column can be used in both centrifuge and vacuum-mediated sample preparations. Geometry of the column's interior ensures complete discharge of solutions under both centrifugation and vacuum. Columns can be modified by adding porous frits, sorbents, gel filtration media or retainer rings and membranes.
Chromatography Columns
The AxySpin™ Chromatography Columns are designed to transport prehydrated chromatographic media, such as gel filtration and affinity resins. The three column sizes (mini, midi and maxi) will accommodate a wide range of different resin volumes and are available either fritted or unfritted.
Extraction Plate - Solid Phase
The AxyPrep™ 96-deep well Solid Phase Extraction Plate has a unique two-plate system which allows optimisation of sorbent bed geometry. The optimised drip directors modulate flow and prevent cross-contamination. Plates are sold fritted or unfritted.
Filtration Plates
The AxyPrep™ Filtration Plates are available in 0.3 ml, 1.0 ml and 1.5 ml. The 0.3 ml plate accommodates smaller-scale preps, where elution volumes must be minimised. The 1.0 ml is ideal for sample preparation using intermediate-size sample, wash and elution volumes. The 1.5 ml well volume will accommodate most biological lysates.
SPE Syringe Column
The AxySep Syringe Column is a fritted, snap-together device that can be filled with a sorbent for carrying out syringe-mediated SPE (solid phase extraction). The internal volume is approximately 1 ml.
Smart Ampicillin
Smart Ampicillin™ from Axygen Biosciences is a specially formulated Ampicillin antibiotic that is optimized for expression studies. Smart Ampicillin is superior to common antibiotics like Ampicillin, Carbenicillin and Methicillin and is specially formulated to overcome bacterial enzyme degradation.
X-Gal-IPTG Spray
X-Gal-IPTG Spray is a convenient ready to-use solution of optimal quantities of IPTG, X-Gal and stabilisers. X-Gal-IPTG spray can be directly sprayed on agar plates containing appropriate antibiotics. Spray solution is sufficient for approximately 100 plates (100 mm size).

The AxyPrep Mag PCR Clean-up kit utilizes a unique paramagnetic bead technology for quick high-throughput purification of PCR amplicons. AxyPrep Mag PCR Clean-up utilizes an optimized buffer to selectively bind PCR amplicons 60 bp or 100 bp and larger to paramagnetic beads, providing end users flexibility and high recovery options with efficient primer-dimer removal based on their downstream applications needs.
AxyPrep Mag DyeClean utilizes a unique paramagnetic bead-based sequencing purification system optimized for the clean-up of excess dye terminator post sequencing reaction in Sanger sequencing. The protocol mainly consists of binding, washing and elution steps, and can be performed directly in the thermal cycling plate and requires no centrifugation or filtration.
AxyPrep Mag® PCR Normalizer Kit
AxyPrep MAG PCR Normalizer utilizes a paramagnetic bead-based purification system for PCR clean up. AxyPrep Mag PCR Normalizer beads have limited binding surface, therefore by limiting the amount of beads added in a given purification reaction, pre-defined amount DNA can be isolated based on customer needs.
