Pipette Tips
Axygen pipette tips are available in a wide range of styles and packaging and are compatible with the most popular pipettors. See the full range of tips including universal fit tips, tip reloads, speciality tips (including matrix tips, 16-channel tips, and gel cutting tips and gel loading tips) and aerosol barrier filter tips (including universal fit filter tips and speciality filter tips - matrix and 16-channel tips) and multi-barrier pipette tips.
Robotic Tips
Axygen offers a complete line of robotic tips, including unfiltered and filtered tips. Axygen robotic tips are engineered to the exact specifications of the original equipment manufacturers’ tips, ensuring complete compatibility and consistent fit with the most popular liquid handling systems.
PCR Products
Axygen PCR products are specifically designed for use with PCR thermal transfer and Real-Time PCR applications. The extensive product range includes PCR tubes, PCR strip tubes and caps (including real time tubes), PCR plates compatible with most PCR equipment (including skirted, bar codes, segmented, dual plates and LIGHTCYCLER 480 plates). Also included is sealing products and plate lids.
Deep Well Plates
Axygen deep well plates are available with various numbers of wells made of polypropylene and an SBS footprint. The diamond shaped wells allow complete sample recovery with excellent chemical resistance and standard SBS footprint.
Assay Plates
Axygen supply a range of assay plates and plate lids including round well and 'V' well assay plates.
Reservoirs
Axygen reagent reservoirs are manufactured in translucent polypropylene. With a standard SBS footprint, they are designed to be robot compatible. Three design styles are available to fit any liquid handling application - flat bottom series; diamond shaped-well series; and trough series. Sterile reservoirs are available on request.
Microtubes
Axygen offers microtubes in screw-cap and snap lock styles and a range of micro-centrifuge tubes. Screw-cap microtubes have a threaded O-ring design ensuring a uniform closure allowing centrifugation up to 20,000g. Ribs on cap and tube are designed to fit the Tube Lock AxyRack. Screw-caps are supplied in caps and looped caps without O-rings, and caps and looped caps with O-rings.
Centrifuge Tubes
Axygen centrifuge tubes are available in a variety of tube sizes in bulk non-sterile and pre-sterilised formats. Caps can be closed with one hand.
Serological Pipettes
Axygen offers the widest line of virgin, crystal clear polystyrene Serological Pipettes in a choice of packaging options - bulk or individual wrap. From 1ml up to 50ml sizes, all feature clear, fine graduations for the most accurate dispensing. Three tip styles, narrow, wide and open-end, allow the efficient transfer of liquids and suspensions of different viscosities. To eliminate sample hang-up and improve accuracy, all models up to 25ml are single piece construction while the 50ml pipettes are in two, the body and tip as a single piece.
The color-coded plug allows easy identification of the volume range and corresponds to the dispenser style, space-saving packaging. For use in safety cabinets or areas of limited space, the short-form pipettes are 25% shorter than the regular pipettes Axygen Serological Pipettes (SAL 10-6) are gamma irradiated and guaranteed non pyrogenic, non cytotoxic, non-haemolytic, RNAse & DNAse free.
Clinical Plasticware
Axygen produce a variety of clinical plasticware serving a broad range of laboratory needs. The AxyCaps are designed to fit standard 10 mm, 12/13 mm and 16 mm glass and plastic test tubes. The AxySaver closures are for use with most 12/13 mm and 16 mm tubes.
Aerosol Barrier Tips
The Axygen aerosol barrier tips are manufactured from a technologically advanced filter material allowing free passage of air while preventing passage of aerosols. The Axygen GEN3™ multi-barrier pipette tips seal on contact with liquids and prevent liquids or aerosols from passing through - eliminating cross contamination. These tips feature an exclusive Maxymum Recovery technology which reduces the amount of reagent or sample adhering to the pipette tip.
Axypet single channel Pipettes
AXYPET™ single channel pipettes combine accuracy and precision with design innovations intended to make the pipetting experience more comfortable during periods of prolonged pipetting. 10 single channel models cover the volume range 0.2mls to 10mls. Thumb-friendly soft spring pipetting system reduces fatigue with unique EZIject side ejection option reduces thumb movement plus a finger-hook to take the weight, for a more relaxed grip.
Axypet multi-channel Pipettes
AXYPET™ 8 and 12 tip multi-channel pipettes feature a revolutionary suspension system which allows the shafts to retract slightly when they are pressed against a row of pipette tips. Each shaft moves independently, resulting in an even sealing force being applied to all 8 or 12 tips. For comfortable pipetting in any direction, the tip manifold rotates 360º.
Moto-Pet - Pipette Aids
The MotoPet™ pipette controller works with glass and plastic pipettes from 1 to 100 ml. Suction can be regulated by varying pressure applied to trigger button while dispensing can be carried out by gravity or supported by the pump. Features include high/low speed selection, digital display of parameters and 8 hours continuous operation.

Disposable Reservoirs
The Axygen disposable reagent reservoirs are designed to accommodate all types of pipettors. Made of FDA grade plastic with graduation marks on interior walls, they are RNase/DNase-Free and Non-Pyrogenic. Available in V Bottom or new 2 Trough Reserviors.
MaxyGene Thermal Cycler
The Axygen MaxyGene gradient thermal cycler features precision thermal control, with rapid heating and cooling of the precision machined sample block, by six peltier modules. The heated lid is fully adjustable to provide the appropriate pressure for use with different height tubes as well as multiwell plates. A compression mat is also provided. A maximum of 100 programs can be stored in the system memory with password protection.
Minigene Thermal Cycler
The Axygen Minigene thermal cycler is available with either a 24 x 0.2 ml tube block or 18 x 0.5 ml tube block. A heated adjustable lid is a standard feature with this unit which features an easy-to-read large graphical display. Programming is simple and intuitive and up to 100 progams can be stored in memory.
Sealing Film Options
Axygen manufacture a range of sealing film options including Heat Sealing Films, the EasyPress Sealing Mat & Film Applicator, and the Sealing Film Roller. A new Axygen heat sealer is expected to be released in early 2011.
